Before leaving Maryland and Pennsylvania to return home to Monroe, NC, I took this picture of my mother working on her "Heritage" garden. During the last few days, we have transplanted some of the perennials from her former house to her new cottage in Hanover, PA. She has some beautiful, deep purple-colored Iris.
